Well, the art festival in Savannah went well and I'm glad that I went. I love the atmosphere of Savannah, especially River Street. I sold some prints and met a lot of nice people. It was also interesting people watching...a lot of people brought their dogs with them--most with Christmas sweaters on, which was a great sight to see.

I was also able to take a few pictures and I am pleased with how they have turned out. They are posted here, take a look...I would welcome any feedback you may have.

Next Photography Show | Savannah, GA | December 6

Just wanted everyone to know that my next show will be this Saturday, December 6th in Savannah, GA. I have a booth at their Arts and Crafts Festival on River Street.

If you are in the Savannah area, I invite you to come out and take a look at my photos. The festival should be a lot of fun with several arts and crafts booths, music and food. Also, the river will be lit with Christmas lights on all the boats. A day of Christmas shopping, eating and enjoying the holiday season sounds like a perfect day to me!

My booth will be on the river side of the street almost directly across from the stage. I look forward to seeing you there!

These photos were taken in November when my honey and I went to Negril, Jamaica. We stayed at the all-inclusive resort, Couples Swept Away. If you have never been to an all-inclusive resort you should really try it out sometime! It was awesome...all the food and drinks you could ever want and lots of watersports and activities included.

Sunflower Festival in Rutledge, Georgia

I had no idea that sunflowers grew with so many flowers on one stalk! This was taken at the Sunflower Festival in Rutledge, Georgia. It is a neat festival with lots of arts and crafts, exhibits, food, music and of course...plenty of sunflowers to pick!

The Cutest Koala Ever!

Isn't this little guy a doll? Believe it or not, I actually got to hold one of these adorable animals at a zoo on the Gold Coast of Australia. He was so cute and cuddly...he just snuggled right up to me. It's one of my favorite memories. Also, they are heavier than they look!

The Great Middleton Oak

This tree is 900 years old (or so they told us!)...I love oak trees, especially with the spanish moss hanging off it. The sepia tones work well for this photo.

So Many Aspens!

Aspens are such neat looking trees...did you know they are all connected? They grow in clonal colonies all derived from one seedling. In the summer time they have the most beautiful yellow-gold leaves.

I just love the way the sunlight is shining through these Aspens. This photo was taken in Crested Butte, Colorado...if you are looking for a great place to hike, mountain bike, or snow ski, then this is the place for you. It also has the neatest little town with lots of shops and wonderful restaurants...no fast food in this town!

Stunning Australian Sunset

I have never seen more beautiful sunsets than in Australia. As far as traveling goes, I would highly recommend visiting Australia if you ever get the chance. I would live there if I could! There are so many places to see, but I would definitely go to Sydney, the Great Barrier Reef, and the Gold Coast, for starters.

A Serene Setting...

What a beautiful spot to just sit and look at the lake...I just had to take this picture! It's at Middleton Plantation in Charleston. If you've never been there, you must go! The gardens are excellent, as you can see...make sure to go between March and May as that's the best time to see the flowers in full bloom.

Azaleas, Azaleas in Charleston!

This was taken at Middleton Plantation in Charleston, South Carolina. It is very hard to see, but if you look to the right of the oak tree, there is a dark form near the edge of the lake...that was actually an alligator (or is it crocodile?!) just sitting out sunning himself...now mind you, there wasn't any fences or boundaries to keep the alligator from getting too close. Thankfully he chose to stay near the lake!!! I have to admit, I was nervous with him being there!
